Lantern Walk 2023 hosted by artist group “Risk of Change”

Join your friends from Risk of Change for an illuminated evening stroll where we will enjoy taking in the many installations of the festival while bringing light and joy to all we encounter!

We will gather at the Salmon Street Fountain on Saturday the February 11 at 7 pm. At 7:30 pm we will depart on our stroll through the festival and over to Pioneer Square.

Illuminated Costumes, Giant Puppets, and lanterns and lit objects of all kinds are encouraged!

This years festival theme is inspired by the beauty and magic of deep space- stars, moons, and planets!

We encourage you to craft a star or moon lantern of your own to bring for the festival.

Stay tuned to the PDXWLF social media for an upcoming instructional video on a simple star and moon lantern you can make at home. See Youtube link here: Lantern Procession star tutorial

We hope you will join us for this magical stroll.
