Gallery Show featuring Incarcerated artwork & works of illumination by local Portland artists – 2/9 & 2/10 Panel discussions with community organizers

Join us at Past Lives as we shed light on the Incarcerated Artist Community through the winters. Our Past Lives show “The Art of Illumination” features 45+ framed works by incarcerated artists and community art representing light. In addition to our gallery show we will be hosting 2 nights of panel discussions with organizations who work with the incarcerated, their families and people coming out of prisons. It is our goal at Past Lives to have conversations about the justice system in Oregon and the long term effects incarceration can have on individuals, their families and their communities.
